The carrier material consists of thermo-reversible medium that effectively resists irrigation at body temperature thereby minimizing the loss of DBM at the surgical site. In addition, the carrier has properties that allow the DBM to be moldable making it easy to place it in a surgical site.

Demineralized Bone Matrix Flowable Putty

AlloGen DBM Putty is a bone void filler that combines human demineralized bone matrix (DBM) and a biocompatible carrier. The carrier material consists of a reverse phase medium that effectively resists irrigation, thereby minimizing the loss of DBM at the surgical site, while its thickening properties at body temperature enhance the containment of the DBM. Its low viscosity allows injections for a variety of application.
